Per the request of one Lisa Solomon, I have decided to write a new entry! (Thanks for caring, Lis, I didn't think I had any readers anymore! haha)
Since it's been so long since we've all had a chance to catch-up, I will give you the run down...
Work's good, Lawrence is good, Hef's good (and he's 3 now!) annndddd that about sums it all up. Nothing has really changed much. Spent the weekend at Innsbrook last weekend and it was AMAZING! It was my dad's birthday and we had a fantastic time. The weather was perfect, my mom made delicious meals and we got to watch a 20 inning Cardinals game... the recipe for the ideal weekend, no?
Anthony is about to enter finals and he is feeling the stress. I will be excited when he's done with his 1L year so he can relax (among other reasons).
In terms of my fitness goals, I don't really have many specific updates there either. I guess one thing that I can say is that I have started to take a lifting class at the gym. It is a really intense one-hour class that I think will be a great addition to my work out regimen. Hopefully I can tone up these flabby arms and legs!
Yesterday was my goal date to have lost 10 pounds. (3 months after I began my gym membership and my roommate's Birthday). Now, I haven't weighed myself for months, but I am assuming that I did not quite reach my goal. I am a little dissapointed, only because I am not the type of person who just doesn't reach my goals. I think what happened is that I was really gung-ho and obsessive about working out and dieting at first, so I kind of over did it. After that, I dialed it down a notch and probably at times wasn't trying as hard as I should have. So here I am, 3 months down the road and I have definitely made lots of improvements in the health and fitness department, but I still have a lot of work to do. I would be interested to weigh myself just to see how many pounds I have lost but I have a strict no-scale policy. The world may never know.
Hopefully I will have more time to blog these days, though we have busy times coming up... graduations, anniversaries, wedding festivities and summertime! WOO!
P.S. I really need to get a camera so I can accompany my posts with pictures again.
I read!
