What an evening. The tulips bloomed today and I couldn't be happier! I have been waiting for them to open up. Finally the daffodils have someone to hang out with. Our back yard always seems so happy when spring arrives... despite the fact that the fire pit and chairs are still in the exact configuration from when we had a Thanksgiving bonfire last November. (We're not lazy at all!) I am so excited to start spending a lot of time outside.
We've already gotten a taste of these "April showers" that they speak of... Lots of rain in this first April week. I would complain, but COME ON... it is one million times better than snow. At least the temperature has been cooperating! And it's nice to have the option of going for a run outside instead of just being forced to exile myself to the gym. Of course, it's hard to motivate myself to do much of anything when laying out is an option... oh, life is just so hard... ;)
