The Bath

I decided that since today is such a nice day that I would clean Hef's cage, wash his bed and give him a bath. I don't think I've ever done all three of these tasks on the same day, so today was a BIG deal!


When I say "bath" I am referring to this spray that you can put on bunnies that makes them smell like a baby. So I capture Hef (which is a more daunting task than you are imagining), put him in my lap and spray him with this baby powder smelling liquid until he looks like he has been out in the rain. (again. oops). He didn't seem to mind it at first. I massaged it into his fur, as directed, then proceeded to brush him out. He looked like such a little doll, I can't even tell you how pretty he looked. Of course, the moment I let him go, he runs over to the corner and angrily proceeds to groom (lick) every square millimeter of his little body.

Long story short, in an attempt to make my little stinker smell like a baby, he decided he would rather smell like he always does. I will probably not be "bathing" him again.

The evil looks he was shooting me somewhat reminded me of none other than this little guy.
