Apparently my mouth does not think the new retainers are a good idea.
I have had this problem in the past, but I thought that maybe I had grown out of it... I often times wake up and my retainers are no longer in my mouth. I suppose my tongue knocks them out while I am sleeping. Usually, I wake up on top of them (guess the whole princess and the pea thing doesn't apply to me) and sometimes, like this morning, they are on the floor.
I think my mouth just misses the ducky. High maintenance.
