I finally got my car back yesterday. It took the shop two freakin' weeks and they still managed to NOT get in the clips needed to attach the passenger side molding... so she must return back to the shop for a brief stint this week to get that attached. But after THAT... it will be complete and I will be a happy girl.
In other news, my hair is green. A little too much swimming in the Knipp's pool this weekend, I suppose. Even though my hair hasn't turned green since I was about 8 years old, it managed to transform into the greenest green that ever greened.
After two cans of coke (?) and a bowl of tomato paste later, the green came out on Friday night. Of course, I felt the need to swim again on Saturday and despite my precautions, it turned green again! Not as bad as the previous swamp monster green, but I would say it's a faint pea green. I didn't treat it that night, and perhaps that was my biggest mistake.
I found a half jar of salsa in the fridge, left over from Kristen's graduation party in May, I presume. I decided that it would be the perfect remedy for my green hair. The ingredients said "diced tomatoes in tomato juice" (along with a bunch of other stuff) so I figured it would work. Boy, was I wrong! I am convinced my hair is even greener than before!
I guess there is a reason my mom washed my hair with tomato juice instead of salsa as a little tow-headed 8-year-old... not only do I now have a constant craving for tortilla chips, but it was no easy task attempting to get those diced onions, tomatoes and peppers out of my hair.
On the bright side, If I get hungry, I'll have a snack for later.
