It was the most perfect night! I set up dinner out on the back porch-- white table cloth, red wine and candlelight included. (Citronella candles, of course. See previous entry if you must ask why.) I made a new recipe that I had been wanting to try... a delicious spicy tomato sauce pasta with pancetta that I learned about from my dear friend Ady's twitter. It was pretty fun to make... I love when all of the ingredients are fresh and homemade.
Warning: I guess I am going to turn this entry into an excuse to brag about my boyfriend. If that type of thing annoys you, stop reading now. (Or maybe you should have stopped reading a long time ago!)
Anthony is the best! Not only did we have the best night that night, but the next day he even surprised me with flowers to thank me for dinner. What a catch, right?
I have always thought that he was special, but some days he really outdoes himself. I continually think about how lucky I am that I have him in my life and how empty it would feel without him.
Like any couple, there are times where we aren't perfect, but days like earlier this week seem to make those imperfect moments fade away.
We're going on three and a half years together and the time has really seemed to fly by! Except when I look back on when we first started dating, it seems like forever ago. We were both so young and in different places in our lives. Can you believe he just started his second year of Law School?!
Speaking of which... here's my little Anthony on his first day of school today! Doesn't he look dapper?
If I'm not mistaken, my first ever blog entry was Anthony's first day of school last year. Looks like we've come full circle! Happy Anniversary, readers! The three of us should go grab a beer to celebrate sometime.
